What happened?
As cache option you can use 'Memcached (Experimental)'.
Thing is that this has been experimental for 14 years now (checking a git blame).
Can you please give this full support?
It works mostly fine, small quirks that could be easily ironed out.

I dont know why its still marked as experimental but if their are known "quirks" then it will massively help if you report them!!
