What happened?
- Activate Workflow, Basic Workflow is default
- Create an article and try to set Start and Finish Featured dates

Expected result
The dates are stored and the article is featured from-till
Actual result
No matter wich transition you trigger or if you only save the article, the fields are emptied.

Confirmed. If the workflow is enabled.
If a date is entered, it is not stored.
If the worfklo is NOT enabled, these fields are only visible and writeable if the article IS featured. This seems to be broken but is another issue.
