@joomlamarco did you check it on a mobile device?
@comment yes, now i checked it on an iPhone 4. There is no matter before installing your patch. And there is no different between before or after installing your patch.

@joomlamarco please make sure that you not enable the "use desktop version" in your browser.

@joomlamarco somthing like this: http://www.tekrevue.com/tip/request-desktop-site-ios-8/ or this: or this: http://iosguides.net/view-desktop-versions-websites-safari-ios-8/
@N6REJ I'm not sure but your screen is 14,10 cm (5,55 Zoll)
@joomlamarco and @N6REJ You can also test it by resize your desktop browser.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_Note_II 15 x 8.5 actually but does that matter? It's still a small screen.

@zero-24 well, at first I tested your patch on my desktop by resizing the browserwindow - of course. There was no matter. After your post, I checked it with my iPhone 4 (I already mentioned it) - there was no matter again. After your hint to a "desktop version", I tested it again with safari and mercury. But there was no matter!
And a hint to you: I'm usig an iPhone4 - there is no iOS8 possible. And so there is no easy way to use unknowing a "desktop version" ...
Sorry, bunt on my systems there is no patch necessary.

I don't know why we are committing this when all tests state there is no issue.
@N6REJ see: http://issues.joomla.org/tracker/joomla-cms/4794 and the test by @betweenbrain
Checking on my phone, I see the issue.
