What happened?

  1. The Media Component doesn't show the folder content, neither does it upload to the chosen folder (images to images, files to files).

Version

6.1

Expected result

Well, it should show content of the folder and it should upload to the proper folder...

Actual result

Blank page - no images shown in the Media component and when uploaded an image, it goes to /files.
The setting is /files for files, /images/ for images...

System Information

J 6.1 on a hybrid hosting (shared managed)

Additional Comments

I found 2-3 issues like that from 2023, 2022...

Hi @Milo-W, I could NOT replicate your issue.

On a fresh 6.1 Nightly Build installation (multi-lingual website), I went to Content -> Media and then uploaded 2 images (1 at a time in .png and .webp formats) in the root and deleted them and then again in a sub-folder with NO issues.

IF that is not what you are reporting and even if you are, it would be really helpful to have a video / screen recording of the issue as you are having it so that we can best try to replicate it.

Did it put them into a set folders - images to /images, files to /files?
BTW what nightly? Isn't 6.1 about the official stable?

Which one did you test?

I will continue in #18514 not to duplicate discussions.
