What happened?
After manually upgrading my test site from 6.0 to 6.1 arround ~20:00 I still got a "failed automated update" report this night arround 01:01 mention the /administrator/logs/joomla_update.php but that only contains information about the correct upgrade arround ~20:00

No automated update email claiming that the upgrade failed :)

I confim i've got this issue only on one site, where debug was enabled.
In the same time, i've received 2 notificaitions of failed update, but the site was updated to J6.1 when visiting it...
Root cause see #47597
