Steps to reproduce the issue

1. Setup user with front end with article edit permissions
2. Login in the front end with this user and edit an article.
3. Use any of "+Article", "Menu", Module" buttons where the modal has pagination
4. Goto a different page in the pagination at the bottom of the modal

Expected result

Expect to see more items listed on each page in the pagination

Actual result

Get blank modal with an error "The most recent request was denied because it had an invalid security token. Please refresh the page and try again."

System information (as much as possible)

• Joomla 5.4.2
• Two environments tested both have this issue
  -> linux with Joomla updated to 5.4.2 PHP 8.4.17
  -> Windows XAMPP 3.3.0 fresh install of Joomla 5.4.2 PHP 8.2.12
• Site Template: Cassiopeia

Additional comments

One environment, the windows is a fresh install of Joomla 5.4.2 with only one 3rd plugin - JCE editor installed.
Issue occurs with both Tiny MCE and JCE Editors
