Versions and Version Notes have been a great addition to the Joomla CMS. Any chance the version note for each article/module could be added to the list view of articles and modules? See attached image for potential layout idea.
I notice clients with larger corporate websites tend to use these notes not only to mark edits to each version, but also notes about article/module placement/functionality/approved by/proofed by, etc.
Hi Brian. That is an interesting idea, and honestly I had not considered what the view might look like if only a few version notes had been applied to an article/module. I have attached what that might look like.

I realised what it might look like I just wondered aloud if that would be a
better way to display it. In the same way that usernotes are done

I often wondered why in the list view for modules notes appear but not for articles. Very useful.

I guess because the column is already crowded with the alias and the category

I also think that it would be a good idea to add the notes in the list view. I also agree with @brianteeman that it would be best to display notes only if there are any.
@ChristopherRaymond, can you create a PR so I could test this?

Hi dimitargsg, please excuse my ignorance but what do you mean by PR? Thx.

I meant Pull Request in case you can modify the code - so we could test it.
Good idea in concept. Is it possible to make more interface: Website, background programmer, background, designer, etc.
Or make the list more optional

Thanks @dimitargsg. Appears to be beyond my skill level, but it looks like @kirapwn has made the edit - thanks so much!

Would you suggest that the icon is only present when there are version
notes?
