Steps to reproduce the issue

create from template an override article type and rename them

/templates/cassiopeia/html/com_content/article/custom.php
/templates/cassiopeia/html/com_content/article/custom_links.php

add some code to see if it works

select this layout in article : it works
select this layout in a category blog item

Expected result

change in articles view when in the menu selected.

Actual result

override is not loaded even the overide can be selected from template overide
