[#46478] - Visibility Issue with Fancy Select Field Options (Joomla 6)

Since Joomla 6, a new issue has been identified with the Fancy Select field: its options are not displayed correctly when an editor field is placed directly below it.

The issue can be reproduced as follows:

  • create 2 custom fields for com_content: 1 fancy select and 1 editor
  • place the editor field directly below the fancy select field
  • edit an article -> fields

fancy feld

The issue does not exist in previous Joomla versions.

This has already been fixed for the release of 6.0.1 next week

It has been fixed with PR 46374 #46436 and will be included in the upcoming 6.0.1 release.

See also duplicate issues #46441 and #46443 .

Update: Sorry, was linking to the wrong PR and issues. But the updated PR is right, and it fixes the issue and will be in 6.0.1.

Closing as already fixed.
