Steps to reproduce the issue
- Install Joomla 6,
- Install demo data,
- On the System -> Site Template Styles page, set the new Cassiopeia Extended template as the default,
- Log in to the frontend,
- In the right-hand menu on the frontend, select template settings.
We will only see the language keys.

turn on debug languages and then it should show you what language files it is trying to load

a screenshot of the important part would be good... you cut the languages files loaded for tpl_cassiopeia....
I think they get loaded right?

The screenshot shows the situation when the new Cassiopeia Extended child template is set by default. However, the keys aren't displayed in the frontend.

I'm not quite sure what important part you were referring to that was cut out. Let me know, and I'll take another look.
in the cut last line you see that tpl_cassiopeia has 3 lines, 2 which are red and one which is green, but the green line is unreadable and in this case maybe useful to know.
The child template needs to load the parent template language files which is done in the pr #46353 for the frontend, and #46518 fix your reported issue
