Steps to reproduce the issue

• Create 2 categories (you may use existing categories as well)
• Create a new article, select Featured = «Yes», then save it in the previously created first category
• Create another new article, select Featured = «Yes», then save it in the previously created second category
• (you may use two existing featured articles, if you like)
• Create a menu item of the type «Featured Articles»
• Go to tab «Blog Layout» and Select Categories = «All categories»
• Visit the menu item in the Front-End
• Make sure to clear the browser cache and refresh the page

Result: There are NO articles being displayed

• Go back to the Back-End and open the relevant menu item
• Go to tab «Blog Layout»
• In the «Select Categories» field, select at least the two categories mentioned above
• Visit the menu item in the Front-End
• Make sure to clear the browser cache and refresh the page

Result: The featured articles are now being displayed

Expected result

All relevant featured articles should be displayed in the frontend, according to the selection in the «Select Categories» field, especially if «All categories» is selected here.

Actual result

The relevant featured articles are NOT being displayed, if «All categories» is selected. You need to select the corresponding categories in the «Select Categories» field in order to make the menu items of the type «Featured articles» work properly.

With Joomla 5.4 this was ok. The bug occurs after upgrading from Joomla 5.4 to Joomla 6.
