Fresh install of J6.0.0 RC
Go to Menu Manager to show list of menus - only one (Main Menu)
Click on Modules ( under Linked Modules column) to display what modules are linked
Click on Main Menu (Public in sidebar-right) to open modal edit settings view
Modal allows you to edit the settings
Modal closes immediately after display.
Windows 11
Firefox 143.0.4
WAMP - MySql 8.2.0, PHP 8.3.11, Apache 2.4.58
This worked up until 5.0.3 and then failed on 5.1.0 on-wards from my investigation.
In addition to existing modules set to menus, when a new menu is created, the Add a module for this menu button also opens the modal and displays content then closes immediately.

Ahhh, discovered that it was Bitwarden add-on that was causing this. Thank you.
Then the title "[6.0] ..." of this issue might be misleading as it reads as if it was a Joomla 6 specific issue.
