[#45548] - Track session metadata - sessions are no longer deleted since the update to 5.3.1

The sessions are now only incremented and not deleted after 24 hours as specified in the tasks. Today I had to manually delete more than 5,000 hits from the Sessions table. This only started after updating to J5.3.1.
I'm using PHP 8.4 and MariaDB 10.11.11.
Session GC no longer works.
