Summary of Changes

This pull request (PR) merges the changes from 4.4-dev into 5.2-dev which were made since the last upmerge of this kind.

As most of the changes were either security fixes or other PRs which were already applied in both branches, and the translation updates on the 4.4-dev branch are ignored as those on the 5.2-dev branch were newer, the only change which is remaining is the one from PR #45221 .
