Steps to reproduce the issue

Hello,
I have a problem with the search.
I have a website that has two languages.
The filters are made in early 2024.
And there are marked categories to narrow the search.
Problem 1
The page has duplicated the Category Search.
And now part of it is marked in the first one, which I marked, but over time, the second one appeared and is empty.
Why did some articles fall into the second filter? And it is not searched.
Problem 2
When resetting search.
Selected items from Filters are lost and selected items change categories, which is a mess.
E.g.
The NEWS category is selected
After clearing, the order changes and instead of NEWS, e.g. Archive is selected.
I don't want reindex again and again site this is 40k articles. Indexing takes a very long time.
Any ideas what this could be causing?

There was a bug in the taxonomies where the language column wasn't properly populated for the root entries. The bugfix then unfortunately failed to update the existing entries in that table, which resulted later in duplicates being created. I can confirm this bug and will try to find someone to fix this.

Even though Joomla 4 is only for security fix.

Regards.

Joomla 4 will not get bugfixes, as you stated yourself.
