while instead it is generated as:
http://dev.smz.itglish-article
on the other hand for
http://dev.smz.it/it/un-altro-articolo
the alternate link is correctly set to
http://dev.smz.it/another-article
So... it seems we have a problem with menu items starting with /en (and probably /whatever-alternate-language-code)
I'm wondering if this issue exists also for the (already committed) J3.x version of this PR: I'l make some test ASAP.
