This is a feature request, not really a bug report. If this is the wrong place to put this, please let me know the correct place to add this.
I would like to see in the Users -> User Groups, a built in, "Owners" or "Created By" View Access, that would automatically return the ID of the user that is logged in.
Specifically, I have a component that uses the standard Joomla ACL, and I have a need to be able to provide specific access rights to one specific users for specific pages within that component, as well as specific articles within the site.
Rather than creating a user group for user (about 100 and counting) and adding each user in question to their own specific group, I'd like to set the item in question as created by that user, then in the ACL settings, select the 'created by" or "owners" access view level view. There is no way to do this in native Joomla, but I don't think it would be very hard to implement.
Not exactly - I want to allow ONLY the owner access to that item. I don't want anyone else to be able to see it, view it, access it.

I also want to be able to allow access to the item, but not allow them to change or modify the item itself.

Is it in a core component (articles...) or in a third-party component (not joomla core) ?
Front-end and/or admin behaviour ?
