Steps to reproduce the issue

Expected result
The "Abmelden" submenu is displayed only to registered users, as it is a submenu of an entry for registered users.
Actual result
The "Abmelden" submenu is added to the "Kontakt" menu item.

In joomla 3 this was the case to my knowledge. But wouldn't it then be consistent that this menu item appears on the parent level than attaching itself to the next one as a submenu?

@reilldesign Oh yeah, it would. But its Joomla, home of no-sense decisions.
