Create 2 groups, 2 access levels for these groups, two users, one for each
Create 2 content categories, one for each access level then two articles, one for each category add the same word in the article title or content
Log in with an account. Search this word with smart search
You should only see the result of the article belonging to the category for your group/access level
If the access level of the articles are not the same than the category one but public or registered, the two articles are listed as results even if one has a category you can't access

Do you find it normal that these results whose parent is not accessible to the guests are displayed by the smart search?
Doesn't anyone take care of correcting the errors of the smart search? :(
First of all, this is something that is not easy to fix. Second: You are asking for volunteers to donate their time to fix something that bothers you. There are three possible solutions:

Did you forget the ACL and that in Joomla! when a category is private, all its childs are private?
Do you think it's normal that private data are displayed to all?
I'm not a coder. There is no reason for me to pay someone to fix a bug from the developers who managed and now manage the smart search!
This is a bug that affects not only me but all users.
