But seems not fixed (at least for J3.x)

It WAS fixed, but there is an error in the jlayout forcing the new fields name to be 'params', therefore not B/C (was 'attribs" before 3.2)

The code in the layout is plain wrong. Roberto making a patch now. will let it know here.
