Steps to reproduce the issue
I assign several custom fields to an article category X and then copy the custom fields using the batch function.
Expected result
If I open a custom field and save it as a copy, the copy retains the assignment to category X. Therefore, I expect the same behaviour with the batch function.
Actual result
The copies of the custom fields lose the assignment of the originals to category X.

Confirmed. I would expect a selection of the target category on the batch modal.
Confirmed as a bug.
When moving a field to another group the selected category is maintained
When copying a field to another group the selected category is not maintained
Possibly an extra batch option should be available for copying/moving the category in addition to the existing (and buggy) copying/moving the group
