See http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla/tracker/?action=TrackerItemEdit&tracker_item_id=33880&start=0.
(Observe the top 3 pixels of any Joomla page with Protostar template. Make sure background colour differs from
template colour to see the difference before/after fix.)

Hello,
I wonder if the top 3px is intentionally set to the template color instead of the background color. Having the top 3px in the exact same color as the background color, you won't see the top.

Isn't this part of the Protostar template design to have the top 3px show in the template color? To give you that stripe at the top.

I agree with @roland-d, I think that top border is intentional by design.
Changing it to the background color has no purpose. Why having a top border in the same color as the background? You just get a invisible border and could as well just remove it.

I'm closing this PR since it makes no real sense as it is.

Also if you want to remove that border you could just copy the template and edit it out. Or use one of the available plugins/modules which allow to add custom CSS to your site.
