We have pre-selected filters in some cases and it is always an UX issue.
Example:
Category list. Click on a number of let's say published articles. Then the state "published" is pre-selected on the articles overview.It is correct, of course. Then open an article and save as unpublished. It is not visible, as the filter "published" is set - and it feels like a bug.
A generic solution would be to give seleted filters a coloured background?
