Steps to reproduce the issue

Easier to replicate this one than the other one and with a different broken layout.

Add the code:

throw new Exception();

To the file /administrator/templates/atum/index.php on line 18.

reload the admin.

(NOTE THIS IS JUST a reproducible set of instructions. In real life the exception was thrown deep in the libraries folder of Joomla, but the set up to replicate that is a lot harder for me to explain than these easy to follow steps)
