Because the icons are different widths the padding looks a little off. By using the fixed width version of the icons its much better.

Happy for this to get merged as its slightly better but Im still not convinced - the Envelope and 3 still seem offset to the left of the cutout shape to me.
The distance between the back of the 3 and the side is much more than the left side of the envelope and the left side of the cutout

but that just makes the offset to the left even worse. Makes it look like there is no padding at all on the left.
i still think we could spend our free time better
....but that's me
