User tests: Successful: Unsuccessful:
Changed condition in mod_menu/helper.php to allow show menu items from lover levels of active menu item.
This allow use module mod_menu as "side-navigation" because you can now see menu items under active parent menu item.

I've set your tracker to "pending" so it's ready to be tested.
We usually need at least two good tests to merge something.
To get testers, it helps if you can give clear testing instructions.
I'd be interested to learn more about this pull request. An example, even with screenshots, would be very helpful.

Unfortunately, we're no longer accepting pull requests for Joomla 2.5, which will soon be EOL. Please submit the pull request towards Joomla 3's staging branch instead.
Closing this PR then as it will not be accepted anyway.
