According to request: #28926 (comment)
it would be nice to add this as svg somewhere to show the positions of the backend template:

Previewing Module postions is hard to show with the module position preview feature for the backend. Showing the draft as svg somewhere would help users to understand the positions.

You are welcome to use the screenshots and to put it into the docs, thank you. However it would be great to have them in the Backend to - available for quick reference.
Enable Global Configuration > Templates > Preview Module Positions.
Go to Administrator Template Styles.
Click on the Preview link.

@coolcat-creations how would you deal with a user adding a new module position to the template

I'd suggest the screenshots you provided should go in the in the J4.0 documentation such as https://docs.joomla.org/Help4.x:Extensions_Modules_Administrator or https://docs.joomla.org/Help4.x:Extensions_Modules_Administrator#Related_information.
If I'm allowed to use those screenshots, shouldn't be a big deal to update the docs?
Perhaps you mean something more readily available, such as in the module manager somewhere, a button that opens a modal window with the screen showing the module positions?
