BTW there is a bug with this PR on the issue tracker and you cant report tests

I think I named it with the plural since the error may come from any sampledata plugin, not necessary the one you haven chosen. Usually the error happens if a plugin hits a PHP notice/warning/error and the response thus isn't a valid JSON anymore (especially true with xdebug enabled).
