This pull request patches the issue ( http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla/tracker/?action=TrackerItemEdit&tracker_item_id=28345 ) that causes template installation via Discover->Install to fail.

This should be fixed in the current code as it appears to have been committed after 2.5.4's release. So, it should be included in 2.5.5. If you are testing the current development code and it isn't fixed, please submit a new issue.
