Its my fault - it should have been preview and positions not preview and select

OK I've reverted the file removal. I'm going to leave the deprecated notices there until they can be fixed :)

thanks - so I should do a new PR for 3.x to correct the deprecation and then a new pr for 4 to remove the correct files

Confirmed and it is caused by my PR #16154
Something not right about the files that were deleted - mea culpa
@wilsonge can you please revert 16154 and 16152 while i double check - i am not at my pc this morning
