No it should not as postgressql is just a bit more strict. than mysql.
The easy way to test would be to install tempaltes and extensions

tested on postgresql 9.4.5
should be tested on mssql as well

Right, only PostgreSQL users are affected. It was tested before reporting the bug so I explicitly mention "PostgreSQL" in title
