I have tried to test this patch again over master branch.
I assume you are using https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/1491.diff file as your patch file.
Please try to update your master branch if it is not and then try to apply this patch.
Sorry for mistakes, I'm new to this.
Applying the pach via patch tester plugin gives me an almost blank popup.
FF 22.0 & Chrome 28.0.1500.71 m
Besides that the popup is fine before applying the patch.
