If I'm not mistaken there's still a plan to revise the installation template anyway, so I don't think I'd put too much effort into UI bugs with it yet.

Without a published roadmap etc its impossible to know

Well aware of that problem. Unfortunately every time I bring up the subject I get the usual response of "yay good idea" but nobody seems to want to help with the effort.

and yet it wastes volunteer time by not having one :(

so is it okay to modify it to be inline? I can make a PR for that.
