Can we add a tracker for this please. Or if you had one can you paste it into github so people can cross-reference this.

One thing though is the colour field can't be left empty and defaults to black so I don't think a placeholder is needed here. Otherwise looks good :)

Hi,
http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla/tracker/?action=TrackerItemBrowse&tracker_id=8549 Go to the feature tracker on this link then (when you have an account set up you can create a new item in the menu on the left). Fill out the required details and link into this Pull Request). Then when you've done that put the link to the tracker item in here.

Sorry this is such a pain :) But we're still designing our integrated GitHub tracker.

If you have any problems with this let me know. Or if it's too much problems again let me know and I'll sort it out for you!

Thanks again for coding this

I'd also just add that I think we already have a pull request adding in, not just placeholder, but a lot more HTML5 attributes here: http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla/tracker/?action=TrackerItemEdit&tracker_item_id=31347 / https://github.com/Achal-Aggarwal/joomla-cms/tree/gsoc-fields

To cancel the Pull Request just press close at the bottom here. Don't be discouraged from submitting more PR's though. It's very bad luck you just happened to stumble across a project being actively worked on!

Those video's look awesome! I'm going to email this link to the other person who writes the Joomla docs with me as we are investigating possible creating a YouTube Channel for the Joomla Docs. If you want to there is some info on bug fixes here: http://docs.joomla.org/Filing_bugs_and_issues and the process is very similar for feature requests except a few different fields and a different tracker section. But if you can understand the bug part then the feature tracker should be easy :)

Again Thankyou for submitting code to us. Just taking the time out to contribute is so much appreciated!!

If we just could get some people together to finish our issue tracking application, I believe that would make things easier... FIY it's here: https://github.com/joomla/jissues

I know where it is lol. But there always seems to be more to be done on it

  • and I can't see it being implemented for quite a while (multiple months). So I think it's important that people can use the current tracker until then and instructions for using it are clear.

P.S. Don't get me wrong you guys are doing a sterling job - keep it up :D

Thanks for the video links.I am writing again hopefully i am not disturbing u too much. Anybody is working on the Multiple Database Table CRUD Operation via joomla JTable. what i was thinking in JTable we will mention the relationship(one-to-one,one-to-many,many-to-many) between tables then we can easily perform CRUD operation in multiple table. If someone not started this feature then i can start.
Thanks you

Don't worry about it!! @elinw @mbabker are the two people who'd need to comment on that :) They know far more about the platform than me.
