Folks, the ini files I got from the us/ca/au TT were such a mess that I just copied en-GB, changed the string used for the language name and posted here

OUCH - that was really bad - no wonder there are so many errors. Please
dont do that. If the ini files are no good then tell the TT to fix them.
This was merged on the assumption that the language files were as provided
by the TT - not you a native french speaker. Really defeats the whole point
of a TT if someone is going to change their strings - however well meaning
the intentions

In installation/language/fr-CA/fr-CA.ini
#12360:

JGLOBAL_ISFREESOFTWARE="%s est un logiciel libre sous %s"
-JGLOBAL_LANGUAGE_VERSION_NOT_PLATFORM="Le paquet de langue ne coincïde pas avec cette version de Joomla!. Certaines chaines peuvent manquer."
+JGLOBAL_LANGUAGE_VERSION_NOT_PLATFORM="Le paquet de langue ne coincïde pas avec cette version de Joomla!. Certaines chaines peuvent manquer et seront affichées en anglais."

In English it is
JGLOBAL_LANGUAGE_VERSION_NOT_PLATFORM="Language pack does not match this
Joomla! version. Some strings may be missing and will be displayed in
English."

Indeed we have a typo for fr-FR and fr-CA. Making small PR to correct now.

So I take it at least en-US isn't being pulled from Crowdin? Only asking on that one specifically since it is on the CMS project there.

@mbabker
The installation ini files we got in the TT forum were obviously not coming from Crowdin.

I'm working through re-syncing en-US (mostly the not able to unable changes) and will have a PR for that momentarily.

OK, I make a PR for fr-FR (typo) and fr-CA
